So real

by CareBear   Nov 23, 2008

Here we are at this point
Again, I wish I knew the truth
Do you want really me here,
Or am I just to be refused

It's been so many months
Since we started this charade
I want you by my side
But Not in Masquarade

We should be growing closer,
Instead we're falling apart,
You're bodies next to me
But I'll never have your heart

Your lips still feel soft
And your hugs keep me warm
If I want to see the sun
I got to put up with this storm

I hold back from you
In every single way
Too scared to leave
Wondering if it's right to stay

I never say the words I want to,
I hide them from you everday,
I want you to know I love you,
But I'm too scared you'll walk away

Every memory pressed
Deep into my mind
All those times we lay
Legs and arms intertwined

Talking like nothing ever mattered
Like I was all you needed
But you kept running round
While I remained here seated

Wishing every word was true
And the smile was only mine
But the lies will be revealed
And the reasons will fade in time

Though I'll never forget you
Or the way you make me feel
Those feelings to you that seem distant
For me are ever so real

This is excellent. Youve put alot of emotions into this and its just amazing. I agree with Broken Wing, the last line is my favorite. It wraps it up really well. Keep it up. 5/5
