To My Grave

by InvisiblyHeartless   Dec 6, 2008

It's not doing it's job
The scissors failed
I can't handle this today
Where can I turn?
I'm so alone tonight
I want to crawl somewhere
To some empty cave
Curl up, and fade away
I want eternal night
It's endless fire draws me
Who would care
About one more suicide
I'm not a victim
I CHOSE to be this way
It's a one way street now
So live with it, or die
I can kill you too, mate
My scissors have two blades
Love the blood you see?
That's not even major veins
It'll make pretty little patterns
When the cuts scar
You can see the beauty
Of my painful carvings
On my deceased flesh
Like it, don't you, innocent?
I can show you how
Things work so odd for me
I can teach you how to live
In pity for yourself,
Or depressed like a whiner
Don't follow my steps
I don't recommend adding
To those stupid little stats
A number on a chart
That's all I'll become.
Let me leave with words
Of encouragement to you
Stay alive and have fun
Or you might end in a grave.
