Never Anything More Than a Liar and a Lover.

by Stephanie   Dec 12, 2008

A nonplussed frown has been thrown upon my face, and your hands are laced with betrayal; I'm losing my impassive stance. Don't touch my tears, don't kiss my heart - I can't continue to break slowly because you're intent on ripping me apart.
You shadowed me from doubt every second of the day, but when night came I was encumbered, encumbered by what you'd never say. Stupid, stupid girl with a frown so blue and wide; Didn't daddy ever teach you how all of the boys sin and smile?
You've got me wrapped around your lies, and hooked upon your finger - I happen to think that may be opposite (Just like me and you.)

[Boy, I've pegged you to be a liar,
Please don't dare try to prove me wrong.]

You've got my heart criss-crossed with pain and aches, and my head is going haywire from the words left unsaid. I can't deal with the unknown, but I can't cope with losing you. I've lost too much and gained too little; Why do you do this to me?
But no, I'm not a fool to think I could live without you. I know I'll fall again once I see your harmful smile.
So don't try to sugarcoat it baby - You're a liar and a lover and never anything more.
