Near Death

by Lauren   Dec 18, 2008

I thought it could never happen,
I took everything for granted,
Laying there gasping for breath,
My eyes were rolling back in my head.

Shaking uncontrollably,
Rigid and tense muscles,
Pale face and blue lips,
Everyone around me hustles.

Compressions on my chest,
I finally start to breathe,
No memory recollect,
The light is beginning to leave.

I'm dazed confused and shaky,
Really sweaty pale and weak,
The I.V. Kept sliding out,
My vein collapsed and blood began to leak.

Finally we arrive,
Sirens roaring in my ear,
"You,re at the hospital, you've had a seizure,
You'll be safe here."

I am happy that you're better. I can imagine such a scenerio how shock the ones that loves you feels. The good thing is you're done better. Thank goodness. 5/5, kel.
