Nights

by Lauren   Dec 18, 2008

I kiss my mom goodnight,
Slowly walk to my room,
The tears I try to fight,
I look in the mirror,
Who I see is just not right,
I change my clothes,
And grab my knife,
I cut in deep,
And watch for a second,
Out pours my blood,
Along with my strife,
Then I bandage it up really nice,
And fall on my pillow and weep,
I cry and I cry,
My eyes get heavy,
Exhaustion takes over,
And I dive into sleep.

Very sad indeed. Something life seems so unkind and we're not always satisfied about things that happening in our lives or our ownself, but if we should take a look back at what is happening in our society, we'll see that we're not the worst. Maybe far fom being fortunate, but there are lay greater or lesser persons than us. Very well. 5/5, kel.
