Devastation

The fierce wind forces its way through the atmosphere
warning all that danger is near

the vile clouds overthrow the pure blue sky and engulf the horizon
as the frosted air takes control of all living things

boulders of rain hurtle through the sky like falling rockets
while the bellowing of thunder devours the dense silence of long ago

and the nefarious lightning explodes into this sorrowful world
the sinister storm conquers the land leaving it in devastation and despair
