I go Below

by Soulful Ensemble   Dec 19, 2008

The spiteful words, muttered
That you spat out like fire
Made my heart shutter
Until my soul was tired.

So I went for a walk to clear my mind,
And hopefully stalk what I couldn't find,
But all I felt was a black abyss
That formed around the love I miss.

The world is turned upside down
As I'm left feeling like a clown.
I should've let my mind take over
When my heart lied and said you were a lover.

I'm a blind fool out of smiles
And my four-leaf clover turned to dust.
I started to crumble for a while
When your love became just lust.

I stumbled around from kiss to kiss
Looking in each one for the love I miss.
Now its dark and I feel the heat
And I can smell your room where you probably cheat.

I'm done with you, mi amor,
I have to turn my face and go
To not hear anything more
Because I'm crying as I go below.
