ALONE

Trying to find a reason to live
No longer wanting my heart to give

Having all hate inside
Giving up and wanting to hide

Finding roads leading no where
Wanting a friend to be there

Reaching out for a hand to hold
Only to find it won't unfold

Left alone feeling this way
Not understanding why they don't stay
