My Plague

by H E Losey   Dec 24, 2008

Here I sit
With pen in hand
Thoughts abound
Both small and grand

My paper waits
Its lines still bare
But soon my words
Will be placed there

The letters swirl
Within my mind
And yet those words
I can not find

I pen a line
Await the next
No thoughts come
My mind seems vexed

So still I sit
And gently rock
Again I'm plagued
With writer's block

Ha ha ha. That made me laugh.

Ok that was all that I was going to write/type but I remembered just how much I hate one liners. So I decided to type a bit of useless blabber until I could think of something witty to say.

You seemed to fill your verses simple rhymes. This made the poem fill a little childish to me, but what do I know. Even though it seem simple there was a big voice behind the word which gave your poem more voice. I just wish that you would. Be able to push your vocabulary a bit more so that you can add a force behind your voice.

    it happens all the time...
so many readers can relate to it ... I try to prtray something but words fail me... sometimes I feel as if words are too little a medium to express our emotions...

    excellently penned...
    keep writing ..
