Mindless you (cerebral)

by trippetta TC   Dec 26, 2008

Am I to cerebral for you?
Failing as a angel
In lean times, for you I was , a friend
Can you afford the cost of the sale of my ivory ankle?
Ala' Achilles vying affection I'll send
The bait for you to wave in your borough
Because the elevator keeps rising towards a glass ceiling,
To be honest with you
I'm nothing if not thorough
Lazziez-faire this is my understated feeling
Lounge single and morose on someone else's couch
The main circus is over,
Although I love you thief; hypocrites slouch
Remorse (your torch) the grass will never view my
clever clover ways

Lovely work, it created such imagery for me. The wording was very nice, and it had good flow. Great job!
Thanks for the comment on "Questioning The Clocks".
    Take care, Eleni
