Out of My Shell [old]

I never thought I'd feel it again
I've tried so hard to shut it out
I hide the fact that I care
Creating self-conscious doubt

It's easier to go on numb
Than experience the pain within
I fought a battle with my emotions
And I let the emotions win

And now here I stand, out of my shell
Open for you to see
A pathetic being that has a dream
To have you here with me

    Interesting, i like the structure and the length is perfect. i actually havnt got anything bad to say about this one. not that id say anything bad, i try and write/type constructive critiscism..{SP} its getting late so my brain isnt really functioning properly..back to the poem, i think its awesome so go on you. hope you get inspired at everything. did you compose a snow poem yet? mine is still in progress. so whenever your ready to compare just let me know. ibe
