This is my life

by Waiting4mywings2heal   Dec 30, 2008

She plays her guitar
while underneath the stars
surrounded by silence
sitting in the dark away from all the violence
her heart is broken
with the words she keeps unspoeken
about how her friend died
and how she was forced to lie
so scared to death she refused
to tell the jury it was the accused
but now she wishes she could restart
and she would tell the jury it was blake
who left her friend in the lake
but that is a mistake she can't take back
and day after day her tears may fade
but by herself she will always stay
and her heart will remain broken
with the words she keeps unspoeken!

    Great Poem
Im really srry for your loss
I really liked the flow of the poem and its rhyme scheme but i would like to just point out some things

    surrounded by silence
sitting in the dark away from all the violence

^ I think the sitting in the dark should be separate from away from all the violence like this:

    Surrounded by silence
    Stting in the dark
    Away from all the violence

But overall it was great =)
