Our Love Song...

I was listening to my piano songs and i just got motivated from it...so i wrote a piece though this piece is still not complete quiet yet i think. lol i'm not even sure but any comment for improvement is more than welcome. anyways enjoy and happy new year!!!

Closing my eyes as I played the piano,
A song I remember by heart
Then suddenly I hear another key played
Opening my eyes only to see you...

Smiling and saying that you missed a note
I gather my things and left the room
You chased after me, asking to stay and play...
Looking at you strangely

You pulled my shirt, trying to get me back
But I wasn't going back...
Then you whispered..."I love you..."
I froze as I heard those words...

That was a cheap shot you know?
You pout and look at me innocently
I shook my head as I knew
That was going to get me again...

You wrapped your arms around mines
And back we went into the practice room
As I played, I looked at you in awe
Seeing the girl who would say "I love you"

Just to get me back to play a song...
A song which you heard many times
Because it was a song I wrote for you...
I close my eyes and continued to play

The melody echoed throughout my body
Even my heart was beating to the beat...
Then suddenly stopping yet again
But this time it was from a loving kiss...

As we continue to kiss
We begin to play the rest of the piece
But this time it wasn't just your song
It was now our love song...
