The Final Farewell

A Final Farewell

A Thing So Difficult For Me To Do,
Is End This Love Between Us Two.

I Cry In Pain, Tears So Hot They Burn to Bone,
Now I Must Go On My Love, Without You and Alone.

Why, Oh Why My Dear, Must It End This Way?
Our Bright Hopes & Dreams, They Now Fade to Gray.

You Were My Love, So Deep & True,
And I Now Feel Just Empty, Sad & Blue.

Yet I Must Thank You, For Your Gifts To Me,
So Rare & Precious, I Hope That You'll Agree.

It Was You Who Taught Me How To Love, With Goodness & With Truth.
Now It's Time For Me to Say Goodbye, I Must Bid Adieu.

For Those Gifts You Gave to Me, They Were From Your Heart.
Which I May Some Day Use, In a Brand-New Start.

So Fare-Thee-Well, My Dear Old Friend,
My Thoughts of Love, Forever I Shall Send....
