Vulture

by MorbidCupcake   Jan 7, 2009

You say you see my pain
But your reassurance is too shallow for me
And when I take another step towards you
I can feel your eyes watching her from across the room

You're like a vulture
After me, to fix the disease
You're like a vulture
Come get me
Swoop down and take me, away

This is your loss
Burning a hole right through your heart
But do you notice?
Do you even have a clue?

There's nothing left to prove
What's left when you've already lost everything?
What's left to prove when you've already done everything?
Everything possible to do
