The blackest white

by Angel Demetrice   Jan 7, 2009

My life is so much like black and white.
No color in between,
My life can't tell color
No reds blues or greens,

I know what color red is,
It's the color of love
I know red is the color of apples,
It's also the color of blood.

I know blue is the color of the sky
It's the color of the ocean too
I know my sister like the color blue,
I know it's the color of the full moon,

I remember green,
It's the color of the grass,
I remember it as green as the trees
But never did it last

I remember color but never in my life
I know they exsist but nexist the black and white
The last color I know
Is the none I never knew it the color gray

The one I wish that grew
For in order to get all the colors I want
Gray should have been the first
So that one day the red the blue the green would be there.

"I know what color red is,
    It's the color of love
I know red is the color of apples,
It's also the color of blood."

That was my favorite paragraph. I don't know why, I just really like the way that it flows together.

Over all I loved the poem, I've felt something like this in my life. Great job 5/5
