Cheaters

Feeling like there was bullet,
that was drived right through my chest.
Remembering your ol'time mullet,
and how I always knew what's best.

I recalled our times last summer,
and the fun we had shared.
Feeling like this is a bummer,
and realizing you just didn't care.

The first time this happend you said it wasn't true,
and i decided to believe it,
because that's how much i love you.

She used to follow you around,
she called you all the time.
You told me you met down town,
and that you were always mine.

Then i found out your lie,
you never really worked that late.
You told me not to cry,
and that it surely wasn't a date.

Now i sit here, looking at the picture of you two.
the one that you couldn't hide.
You really thought i'd cry, it was a shock to you,
But i had already known you lied.

Your sitting on a couch, laughter in your smile,
She's sitting on your lap, smiles in her eyes.
You had been out that night for quite awhile,
and that's when my heart had died.
