Sharp as Ice

by Lilly Tagloff   Jan 10, 2009

Have you ever been cut by ice?
Oh! It's the worst knife out there, for sure.
Not even the boiling blade can put up a good match.
Burn, free, burn.
That's what ice does.
Burn, freeze, slice.
Oh, dreadful ice.
It singes the flesh and slashes the skin.
It stabs and throbs and melts ever so slowly.
Like a torturest death,
that won't even kill you.
All you can do is scream in pain.
It freezes your blood and speads like poison.
Your body turns against you,
you become the weapon itself.
So, all you can do is surrender...
to yourself.
Ouch.
