A heart so cold

by Marcus blake   Jan 12, 2009

Barely beating
An ice cage now decorates my heart
Loving has long since departed
From a heart frozen cold
Eyes that lose there flare
A body lost to wander, where?
A soul wanting, the desire to freeze
So slow not even able to breath
Hallow and empty
Nothing to lose, nothing to gain
Eager for nothing, plans never made
Still wanting hoping for something
To long ago to remember the cause
To much to think of the one i loss
So much to bare, such despair
So why even care, sadness has engulfed my eyes
And I'm blind to the lies
The once gentle and pure world I knew
Became hate I held that grew
