Familys at war

by Just Jessy   Jan 12, 2009

Full scale punch ups,
Shouting and more,
This place full of hatred,
Its one constant war.

I can just feel it breaking,
Tearing slowly apart,
This is the end of my family,
Its breaking my heart.

So many arguments,
Harsh words shared,
I'm hiding in my bedroom,
Ive never been so scared.

They're all down there fighting,
They've forgot about me,
I'm just a distant memory,
Someone they cant see.

I don't know what to do,
I just want to make it right,
But I worry if I go down there,
Am I gonna be scared of the sight?

I want us to be normal,
Like the family's that I see,
Everywhere I turn,
Happy family's around me.

Why cant it be the same?
Instead of this damn war?
What made us like this?
We were fine before..

Aw this is like me and my family!! You're writing about my life lol. I loved it, the rhyme scheme and the flow and just the descriptions. I think you're really good at expressing feeling and emotion in your poems. 5/5 from me :)
