OBAMA

"OBAMA"

A change is what he preached about,
In order to improve our nation,
Many people had their doubts,
But still he formed a congregation.

We expect a flawless hero,
As though he were our savior,
We know he is no Nero,
For we see no misbehavior.

He was the state senator,
Who sat in a leather chair,
Now he is cleaning up as a janitor;
"Isn't life so unfair?"

He often hears the roaring of the crowd,
Hopefully he isn't blinded by the baldness.
Of cranky, stubborn politicians standing proud;
Sadly they are the people who need be impressed.

So our one of a kind president,
Is one of the youngest to be elected,
Even though some may not be content,
This is to be expected.

____
This was written for a project at school.
I had to include 1 simile, 1 metaphor, and 1 onomatopoeia. 2 facts about Obama [[or our country]] and had to include a theme.

I wanted to make this funny, so I hope it had a good laugh. ^.^

Anything you don't get, you can PM asking what it is. thank-you
