By Her Ghost

by Tangible heartache   Jan 16, 2009

Silent tears wash down her angelic face;
This little girl dressed in a black gown.
Dying flowers clutched in her tiny hands;
She's trying so desperately not to frown.

Walking slowly down the dusty aisle;
She passed so many sad, sorrowful faces.
Their bowed heads in a silent prayer;
The painful memories, they try to erase.

Reaching the black wooden casket;
It's showing a girl with a sad face and eyes.
So young and peaceful lying there;
She's away from the cruel world and its lies.

Seeing her own lifeless, mangled body;
Lying there with a broken, scarred heart.
Committed suicide, and murdered by her ghost;
A single tear falls; it's now her fateful depart.
