Just one of those poems
that means too much of everything
to really capture it all.
I just wanted to let you know,
poetically
dramatically
exhaustedly
that i'm sorry.
It's not okay,
but I'm working on it.
So long as you don't let me go...
I want to dance in the rain with you
and watch the summer set.
I want to watch the magic
with you
like those little dust motes
that dance in the windowsill
during the middle of september
when the world is still
and perfect,
because I see you in them.
I see you in all of it..
And you amaze me
just like the stars.
Keep your chin up with me, dear,
and we'll watch them.
'Cause when they shine for you,
they shine for me.
