Sunshine

My Sunshine
Your face isnt just your own, crowded with the expressions of others
pulling you in, persuading you to hand over control
you give in wanting comfort, the comfort he stole
dancing with flames, playing with fire
the life you live doesnt take you any higher
reach in the depth of where you stand
pull out your conscience and hold my hand
you search for love all the while love is searching for you
but looking in the wrong places still holds you true
taking the slightest piece of security
trading it for a moment of unpurity
hoping that this one will not drift
he walks away and your heart rips
sure that there is flaws in your every move
determined the wrong he sees is all in you
molding yourself around the desires that holds you
changing a little everytime, shading you a darker shade of deep blue
I stand here in watch praying the next one makes you smile
hoping you dont fall for something thats not worth while
im just your best friend thats never going anywhere
no matter the length or distance for you i care
know that your beautiful without the help of others around
because whats left is you, your the only sound
dont break yourself looking for something that isnt ready
keep your head up sunshine keep that walk steady
look in the mirror and you will see what i do
the beauty that glows and captivates, im just one of the lucky few that stands behind
to watch smile, to see my sun shine

dedicated to you cutie pie
love you lots
