Written on my Heart

by SashaMirage   Jan 21, 2009

Name of the sacred mosque in Egypt
Secretly written on my heart in eternal script

Thirty second confessions could never convey
All the silent feelings I hide wishing to say

Star crossed lovers, destined by a cloud of fate
To let words go unspoken, in tears they separate

Bleeding desire, My heart beat is fading away
Only you could take away night and give me day

Perhaps we'll meet again my love, at heaven's gate
Life's trials will not last forever, it is never to late

The sacred name written forever on my heart
If only in my dreams, by god I swear we'll never part
