Little Sister

by Dacey Flame   Jan 28, 2009

Little sister, in her taps
Small red dress upon their laps
Reaching out but she's too far
I see her leave inside their car

Little sister, safe and sweet
I can't lay down, accept defeat
Where she goes, I don't know
Who's she with, friend or foe?

Little sister, innocent
She won't tell me where she went
Are you still my baby sis?
Now what are we, hit or miss?

Little sister, flawless child
Grow up tight, end up wild
Tie a ribbon in your hair
Never need for taxi fare

Little sister, so far lost
I'm here for you, at any cost
Low at home I'll lie in wait
So I can save you from your fate

    This was amazing!
My sister is going through a hard time!
and this reminded me of how much i worry
    about her!
    Thanks for the poem!
