In Her Memory

Closing my eyes, and holding my tears
Roll in a ball, and block off my ears

Past and present just collide in me
The memories of the face I always see

Those eyes the path I always walk
To know what is wrong without talk

Four years has passed, day after day
And the memories of your death is today

Nothing I can say to express my miss
To your presence with me and your kiss

Life was unfair and took you away
No words other I can really say

I miss you Rita , with all these years
Nothing can keep away these fears

I wish I could give you my heart to heal
But nothing in me could have done the deal

In this blessing night I remember your last
The words you have said to me in the past

""Stay happy, and always remember me
And be the best that you ever could be ""

In this night I hope you can see from above
If that all I am is enough for you my love

    Ohhh dear, CJ, you have never mentioned this to me, it was so saddening! :(
    I agree with Porcy, your opening stanza, showed your vulnerability all too well.
    Gosh, this was such a different sort of write for you, it was incredible heart breaking. You really expressed sadness well through your words, it put the reader almost in your position, whilst reading the poem.

    This is very sad indeed. Dry cry without tears, yet your heart cries for the one you once cared. It's never easy to say a final goodbye to the one we loved. CJ, you are kind hearted and sensitive that's why when you do cares about someone it came directly from your heart. Very well done, 5/5, kel.
