Laying in wait....

by Crystal   Jan 30, 2009

Her eyes cloud over like that of a stormy day,
Fighting to contain the tears trying to break free.
Hands shaking she reaches for the unseen,
It lays in wait,
To give her a kiss of final fate,
Warmth spills into her hand as she watches her life’s supply flow away.
Crimson kisses upon her arm.
She welcomes the touch,
But is terrified of what is to come,
Slowly she lays her head on the pillow,
Opening herself to the darkness that is pressing,
Wondering, will she make it out alive?
Hoping for the latter.

*its short i know but its hard to get back into writing when my mind is all over the place. Hope it makes sense.... your judgment please.....*
