Fade into the Scenery

by Stacey de Luna   Feb 5, 2009

I fade into the nothingness
As I watch you walk away
I collapse onto the hardened ground
While I scream and beg you to stay
My heart slowly begins to crack
Along with the cold earth beneath me
My whole body starts to tremble
As the ground quakes violently
The tears stream down my paling face
While the rain falls down from the sky
I watch your shadow disappear
I lie down and close my eyes
The earthly vines wrap around my hands
As I beg for you to return
The cold moss covers my whole body
Causing all of my skin to burn
I'm becoming part of the scenery
Because you left me at this place
Dark plants sprout around me
As I fade without a trace
