A Broken Love

by Stacie   Feb 6, 2009

You entered her life like a gentle sigh,
A soft wind rustling through leaves,
But some time after your arrival,
The complication of her love was weaved

That love killed her and also kept her alive,
Giving her lies so she could last each day
But your intimidating eyes were enough
To keep her words still not conveyed

The ocean waves tried to wash her soul,
To cleanse her of your smile
She wanted it`s image to vanish,
But at the same time to stay awhile

So with scars forever burning,
She decided to wait for you…
And here I am still waiting
Never revealing what is true
