Will You Never Know

by Painted on Smile   Feb 7, 2009

That smile.
Oh, that bright smile.
That plays upon thy lips.
Would thou not shine upon me
For just a little while.

Those eyes.
Oh, those blue eyes.
That swim between thy lashes.
To never again drown in their depths
Would surely be my demise.

That hair.
Oh, that golden hair.
That flirts with thy ears.
Does thou deprive this pour soul of its golden grace
Is it not thick enough to share

Those cheeks.
Oh, those burning cheeks.
That dance with a brilliant red stain.
To never again ignite my heart with their fire.
Would cause them a most disastrous pain.

That boy.
Oh, that wonderful boy.
That holds her in his arms.
Will you never know
that because of you my heart is greatly torn.
