Rip tear burn

by Ney ney   Feb 9, 2009

Scribble scribble scribble
Stupid words on a page
Writing down my feelings
The ones that remain

Supposed to make me feel better
Supposed to help me cope
So why so I feel so numb?
The drug of faded hope

Rip, tear, burn
throw the stupid page in the bin
rip, tear, burn
that’s what I feel within

tears that sting
a heart that breaks
it all goes numb
yet everything still aches

I cant feel my finger tips
I cant feel my smile
That expression of joy
Is gonna be gone for a while

Im losing a part of me
That now belongs to you
Please hold it carefully
And please stay true

I cannot say goodbye
Please don’t expect me to
Its getting too hard
Cant face losing you

So come back soon
And hold me once more
Rip , tear burn
I fall to the floor.

A captivating title, and a great poem to back it up. It's a great right and millions of images flashed through my mind while I read this. Great job, hope to see more.
