The war in Iraq

by Priscilla   Feb 13, 2009

Ive sat here all day thinking
Of any reasons as to why
Such cruelty to another person
And why they need to die

We take human life for granted
And we just bury them away
We take out there organs
Then bury them today

We send in the soldiers
As many as we think we need
We shall send in reinforcements
If the need shall be

We take the lives of so many
And cover it up as best we can
We have all heard of the bloodshed there
Scattered across the land

They are brain washed before they leave
That what comes out of this is good
They truly believe they are doing
What any real soldier should

Little did they know
That its in there belief
To increase the power of its own
Ignorance and all the grief

You take away a mothers son
And punish for crimes unknown
You take the lives of others
Till theres nothing but empty homes.
