Your Responsibility

by Raychil   Feb 18, 2009

They say responsibility
Is only for the mature
So why is there so much
That I can't take it anymore

I've covered you so many times
Even taken the blame
But what you've done this time
Just is not the same

I protected you from the worst
Saved you again and again
And then in just one night
You disown your best friend?

You spun a web of lies
And I took the fall
You just let it crush me
And didn't care at all

You let me take your place
In this responsibility
But unlike times before
Its not in my ability

Such a funny word it is
And the meaning that has died
Have you ever taken is seriously?
Have you ever even tried?

Still I will say nothing
At least you're off the hook
But remember your responsibility
And the best friend that it took.
