Sour Carnival Kisses

by Jenna Rose Kat   Feb 21, 2009

Cotton candy kisses and a roller coaster high,
Keep going up so I feel like I can fly,
All hyped up with an awesome head rush,
Got banged up though so my spirit's crushed,
All because of what you did to me.

You shot me down, bang, bang,
Then left me alone to hang,
Took my freedom so I can't hide,
That made me die inside.

Around and around I spin until I'm dizzy,
It's the only way for me to forget my misery,
But in the picture you put me in the prison cell,
That hurt me, but you couldn't even tell,
It's because of you that I feel so dead.

Can't believe it turned out like this,
But I do hate your sour carnival kiss,
Never did I believe things were so fake,
But now I'll never again feel awake.

And as you hang me up like this,
Don't you believe I'm far from bliss?
All because of your sour carnival kiss.
