The Future is Bright

by Jenna Rose Kat   Mar 29, 2009

All the times that I've cried,
It's left no room for happiness,
I've lived on the long, hard road,
Fighting for a future,
Better then my past,
I'm gunna get what I'm owed.

Tell everyone I'm leaving,
But don't forget about me,
I'll leave my past behind,
And find a better future,
Don't worry, I'm not angry,
I still have a future to heal me.

Karma's a sweet thing,
I'll get what I deserve,
Past of coal, future of gold,
I can fight to get there,
To a life worth living,
I can break the mold.

Tell my family I'm gone,
I've done the best I can do,
So stop what you're saying,
And accept me the way I've become,
Don't worry, I'm not angry anymore,
I have my own life to live,
So realize I'm living a future I want.
