Nowhere

by Armada the Gestalt   Feb 23, 2009

Nowhere, Nowhere,
Opens his arms,
Beckons me in with empty eyes,
Nowhere calls to me out of the dark,
The abyss he let reclaim me.

Nowhere, Nowhere,
He is my home,
He is where I belong,
Nowhere, Nowhere,
Knows who I am,
Knows what I'm fighting for.

Nowhere kissed me when I cried,
Touched my lips when I smiled,
Nowhere drew from me everything,
I have ever felt.

Nowhere knows me from outside to in,
Nowhere is my soul,
Nowhere took from me everything,
When he went away.

Since Nowhere once was a man just like me,
Nowhere once was beautiful,
Nowhere remains precious, unique,
Nowhere is my love.

Since Nowhere once had a name that I can't
Bring myself yet to say,
Nowhere hailed from the Hell I was born:
The void inside us all.

Oh Nowhere, Nowhere,
Where did you go,
Back where we came from?
Nowhere, Nowhere,
Give me a sign, give me your name again.

Nowhere, Nowhere,
Are you out there?
I long to feel your skin again,
Nowhere welcome with your smile,
That blessed us all so rarely.

So Nowhere, Nowhere,
I'm here for you,
I know you want to stay here,
I'm inside you as you were once part of me,
Nowhere, bring me home.

I like the medaphor as well as the plain point that you're poem held. The repitition of the word nowhere made the poem really strong, expecailly because the word nowhere can be broken into two words. (NO WHERE and NOW HERE) Thank you for the read.
