Can't Stop Thinking of You

I wrote this to a girl I fell in love with from the moment i first met her... One night we had been texting each other for hours and i wrote this 5 minute (to write) poem to tell her how i feel.

Another night by myself
And with nothing to do
The only thought in my head
Is just my thought of you

I know its not normal
And I know it's a little strange
But this feeling that I have
It doesn't ever seem to change

From the first time that i met you
And all the way up till now
I've tried to gain your affection
I just never knew quite how

And each time we was together
Although you thought i was shy
I wanted so badly to kiss you
But didn't, to be a good guy

So because you will most likely
Never see me as I see you
I make my own excuses
Of why it could never be true

You're such a good friend to me
And I always do realize
How hard I make things
So for that I apologize

Another night by myself
