Loving Lonely

by Laurie Tran   Feb 25, 2009

Where are you, sweetheart?
I've waited so long to have you with me.
Don't delay it any further,
Into my arms, you should be.

I'm too used to seeing your back,
Around the corner, your car disappears.
Why couldn't you have spent the night?
I need you, badly, with me here.

Why are you always so far away?
You are my sunshine, my boo.
Come back and don't ever leave again,
Hunger strikes and I'm starving for you.

I don't want to be part of a crowd,
Don't want to be by myself either.
I'm just a girl, a rather lonely girl,
who wants the love of her life beside her.
