Good bye

by Laurie Tran   Nov 18, 2007

It was such a heartbreaking day,
Everyone searched for something comforting to say.
I will never forget your innocent face,
as we sent you to your final resting place.

I tried my best not to look hurt,
but my tears splashed heavily into the dirt.
We all didn't want you gone,
but from this world you had withdrawn.

I miss you so much Uncle Andy,
it was you who bought me all those candy.
You, who took us to all those parks;
You, who let us stayed out until dark.

It's so hard to have to realize;
I can never play games with you again.
You won't be around to raise your kids.
I can never crack jokes about my mom with you again.

It's so hard to have to realize;
Uncle Andy; this is good bye.
