Put my foot down.

by Allie   Feb 28, 2009

I'm putting my foot down
And standing my ground
Listen up, cause I'm laying this out
So hear me when I say this loud.

Just because I'm not a twig
and I'd rather wear my sweatshirt and jeans
Just because I eat like a normal person
and because I'm not the prettiest you've seen.

I'm putting my foot down
And standing my ground
Boy's pay attention
You should write this all out

When you call a girl fat
When she's eating like a pig
Or make fun of her looks
Cause she's not from a magazine

I'm putting my foot down
I'm standing my ground
Think before you speak
Remember, and are you writing this down?

You aren't the buffest.
and did you put much effort into the clothes you wear?
You will always eat more than her
And have you looked in the mirror? we can do better.

I'm putting my foot down
I'm standing my ground
Listen closely cause
I'm laying this out

Get a grip on reality
No one is perfect
We all make mistakes]
And we got to work with it.

I have put my foot down
and I stood my ground
And look where it got me
I haven't been found

I don't care what i look like
And i know i'm not skinny
No one I know is perfect
And boys, i hope you remember this.

Don't point out my flaws
I don't point out yours
Don't dish
What you can't take

I put my foot down
I laid it all out.
