Society

by Fire Catches   Feb 28, 2009

Threatening screams of horrors today
Melancholic song reminding of child's play
Tear of no joy, washing upon a face
It's worse then I could imagine, that awful taste

Violence, rape, and murder; Is what today's society is
Romance blossoming, then into a forceful kiss
Saying no, but he is having his way
She's screaming no, wishing she didn't live today

Then down the hall a fight breaks out, people are down
He pulls out a gun, making a booming sound
Mother falls with a sigh, leaving her to bleed
Ambulance sirens zooming in the air, she dies of greed

Violence, rape and murder; Is what today's society is
Nothing is getting better, specially for the kids
And as their tears fall silently, who will be their hand
To catch them when they fall, and help them stand

This is so true, the world is just plunging downwards, further and futher, how long until we hit rock bottom? And what will the world be then?
Another amazing write, well done :)
