My Medow

by SAINTS MATE   Mar 9, 2009

Standing in the middle
of meadow with knee high grass
holding you hand
hopping this moment won't pass

we stare up
while the sun sets
a pinky colour
Goes across the sky

A beautiful brown
on a creamy white
our hands fit perfectly
together like gloves

You make my hand tingle
underneath
I laugh at your beautiful smile
your laughter is so contagious
I have to laugh along with you

Your hand is so warm
against my skin
i love you forever
outside to in

We lay on the ground just laughing
at the clouds in the sky
i look into your eyes and i
believe i am loved

because every time i look at them
they crinkle around the edges
to smile your wide beam smile
and kiss my little nose

I run my fingers through your hair
and hum my favorite tune
you start to sing along with me
and were screaming the words now
we just burst out laughing
because you look so funny

walking back to your car
wishing it wouldn't end
i know you'll stay the night
but my meadow will always be for us
