Why we go back,

by Kayl   Mar 11, 2009

This isn't really a poem, but for all those girls who seem to go back to those guys-the ones that break our hearts over and over, i thought id add this in.
Its a paragraph from a book "Dog Handling" highly reccomend anyone to read it, its about how guys are dogs and you must train them as such (very funny).

"Love causes the female body to produce the same hormones as childbirth, because though you were kicked to the kerb, you seem to have forgotten how incredibly painful it all was. You've totally blocked out the agonizing screams and the cries of 'I'll never do this again; it wasn't worth it; and instead, at the merest hint of an invitation to repeat the misery, you go all watery-eyed and say 'ohhh yes, please!' It's a huge design flad that women have. "

--i read that, and had to laugh because its so true.
We always go back to the ones who continue to torment us, cause we pray and HOPE that this next time will be different.
