Penguins

by StandStill   Mar 18, 2009

Grass green and magenta were
ugly colours for an ugly penguin.
It was broken; flickering up stories,
shattering nightmares and sending dreams to a web
of feathers.
I hated that penguin night light
and my mother loved it.
Guess who taught it to fly?

-----
worst poem ever. "Write eight lines about the topic your group chooses. Then we'll do something with it GO!" ...made my class laugh tho.

I thought it was awesome. Its nice to see poetry that isn't about death, suicide, love, love lost etc. It's a cheery and amusing poem. Great write 5/5.
