Just like you

by theory of the loser   Mar 20, 2009

Something you don't know,
something you don't understand,
something you can't grasp,
something that falls apart.

They are people just like you,
the kind that fall apart when spoken wrong to,
they cry just as hard, smile just as bright,
yet for some dumb reason you still spite.

You're so popular,
covered in glitz and glamor,
yet you don't see,
how much you really hurt her.

To you,
they're just another face in the crowd,
to them,
you seem a little too proud.

They're just things, its,
not people,
something you posses and throw away,
when you're able.

They have feelings,
truth be told,
they just don't say,
normally won't be that bold.

And you know that so well,
but you don't care,
I bet if ones dies,
you'll still laugh and stare.

There's things you don't get,
things that would tear you apart if you knew,
it's funny how,
they are so much like you.

You don't really care,
no not at all,
How can you expect them to not ever fall,
so cold, so demeaning,
no care at all,
such a shame really,
nothing happens to you if you fall,
they may laugh,
but they'll understand,
this is where you were dealt an extra short hand.

So calm so collected,
if only you understood,
there's something about humanity,
more than on some cover,
on some book.

You judge too quickly,
you don't truly care,
you laugh at their weakness,
they cringe at your stare.

How the story ends is truly up to you,
but look a little closer,
honestly,
they really are just like you.

    I lvoed it :)))
    I especially liked the part:

    "There's things you don't get,
things that would tear you apart if you knew,
    it's funny how,
they are so much like you."

Only one thing seems wrong with this poem, the ending doesnt seem to fit quite right. :\
