Unlock Memories

I feel the lock turn
turn the lock and hide the key
leave the box locked up tight
leave it there with memories

let it shake and let it move
let it make noise for you to see them
but don't unlock the box
until its time to sleep

hold on to things that were good
like the sunlight touching your face
or the hand you held while you walked around
it felt so warm and in the right place

unlock the box when you want a memory
grab the key and turn the lock
unlock the memory
