A four Letter Word

Love is a simple four letter word just like the word hate,
You search for it forever then it comes about by fate,

Everything seems like God's will,
And then from there it goes downhill,

They slowly start to fade away,
And then your love is gone one day,

You don't know who to blame,
And your heart is filled with shame,

You are crying deep inside,
And you want so badly just to hide,

To get away from all the pain,
You soon begin to go insane,

Your love is gone what will you do,
They lied when they said "I love you,"

Soon your love turns into hate,
Another feeling brought by fate,

You want to hurt them or hurt you,
But I tell now here's what you do,

You move on and don't look back,
For it is your love they now lack,

Don't give in and stand up strong,
You'll find new love before too long,

And one day when your love is true,
You'll be glad that I helped you.
