Thin Ice [old]

by Kuro   Apr 5, 2009

I walk a thin line of ice
Trying not to fall
So many have fallen through
You hate so many people
I just want to be with you

If you decide you don't like them
They fall through the ice
You treat them with such cold hatred
It freezes them out of your sight

But still I walk on thin ice
It's the only way to get to you
Hoping one day that I won't fall too
Warm up to me and let me be with you

Some call me too forgiving
Some call me too nice
It's hard to feel wanted
When you're walking on thin ice

I must be cold like you
In order not to fall into the ice
Leave them to die
Forget them, Remember you

Will I ever be free?
All I think about is you
Would you do for me
What I have done for you

Some call me too forgiving
Some call me too nice
It's hard to feel wanted
When you're walking on thin ice

When I finally get to you
You don't really care
I did this all for you
It does not feel fair

Either choice I make
I feel the icy sting of hate
Is forgiveness really that hard?
It can take away the scars

Some call me too forgiving
Some call me too nice
It's hard to feel wanted
When you're walking on thin ice
