Bitter

by trippetta TC   Apr 6, 2009

As a child I drank vinegar
Bitter brew in a make believe
play pretend of wine,
My best friend was a gypsy
Who taught me to divine
My parents, and neighbors ran the family
out of town
Because they were different, unique & beautiful
Seen as ugly , crazy tawdry
I cried; silver teardrops; magic left,
lollipop snot and....
Choked
Cherry flavored mishaps,
Upon my Orange fire sun World
In a lacy slip
